I am a board-certified plastic surgeon with over 20 years of experience. I served as a clinical lecturer and clinical professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Korea University, and was the representative director of Goldenview Plastic Surgery. Currently, as the representative director of Golden Diamant Plastic Surgery Clinic, my practice focuses primarily on perioral surgeries—such as philtrum reduction and lip corner lifts—as well as mid-to-lower facial and anti-aging plastic surgeries.

I am a full member of the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the Korean Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Korean Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association, the Korean Society for Microsurgery, the Korean Society for Surgery of the Hand, the Korean Society for Anti-Aging Plastic Surgery, the Korean Wound Care Society, the Korean Burn Society, and the International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Yes. I have given presentations on botulinum neurotoxin at the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and have delivered filler lectures for medical professionals. I served as an injection training instructor for Allergan Juvéderm and Merz Belotero, and published a Belotero lip injection guidebook for medical practitioners. In 2022, I delivered a lecture on lips at the Allergan Medical Institute. To this day, I continue to participate in academic sessions and educational programs, primarily focusing on lip surgery and aesthetic procedures, sharing my clinical experience.

I performed perioral plastic surgery as the representative director of Goldenview Plastic Surgery, and in January 2025, I opened Golden Diamant Plastic Surgery Clinic at Cheongdam Square to welcome patients anew. In addition to the perioral and anti-aging surgeries I have performed since my Goldenview days, I now offer combined medical skincare and spa programs. I also continue to use the name of our representative surgery, the 'Goldenview Lip Corner Lift,' just as before.

Yes. At Golden Diamant, I, the head surgeon, personally conduct the entire process from consultation and design to surgery. This is because I believe the person who plans the surgery should be the one who actually performs it. Consultations are also conducted 1:1, and the surgical plan is created considering the proportions and harmony of the face.

Yes. Because every surgery and procedure involves a certain degree of risk, during the consultation I explain the risks that may arise from surgery and guide you so you can prepare for side effects in advance. I believe a good surgery is one where not only the outcome is good, but also one where the patient fully understands the potential risks before deciding to proceed. Side effects such as bleeding, swelling, and scarring may occur, and the occurrence of side effects and recovery time may vary depending on the individual.

Therefore, rather than uniform plastic surgery that follows trends, I pursue surgery that fills in areas of concern while maintaining overall harmony. Golden Diamant's goal is to refine your natural beauty without damaging your own tissues as much as possible, and for delicate areas like the mouth area in particular, I consider not overdoing it to be the most important factor.

It is provided when the medical staff determines that scar care is necessary due to incisions, tissue harvesting, or other factors. It begins from the 2nd week after surgery, and depending on the recovery condition, up to 3 sessions of the scar care program utilizing Fraxel laser and scar-reducing medications are performed. The degree of scarring and recovery time may vary depending on the individual.

If a scar remains or additional treatment is needed after basic scar care, our medical staff will personally examine the condition and guide you through the necessary methods among more than 6 types of lasers, more than 4 types of medical treatments, and stem cell therapy. Because scars become more difficult to treat the longer they are left unmanaged, care within approximately 2 months—when collagen remodels after the wound heals—is important. Results and recovery time may vary depending on the individual.

Yes. Golden Diamant has private, single-patient recovery rooms where you can rest and recover by yourself after surgery. Within the clinic, there are a main hall, two consultation rooms, the head director's office, an operating room, a procedure room, a waiting area, restrooms and shower facilities, and a private spa room. In accordance with the Medical Service Act, before-and-after surgery photos are disclosed only to registered members; once you log in, you can view before-and-after photos by procedure. Photos are posted with the patient's prior consent, and identifiable areas are masked. Because we only post materials that have undergone consent verification and clinic review, they are released by procedure as they become ready. Results and recovery times may vary depending on the individual.

At Golden Diamant, we aim to reduce skin damage by using micro-cannula needles that have blunt tips and dispense medication from the side of the needle.
