Golden Diamant philtrum reduction involves completely separating the nasal tissue and philtrum tissue, which differ in thickness and tissue characteristics, anchoring and suturing using the philtrum tissue as a base, and then shortening and suturing the muscle, and reinforcing the tissue at the incision site to reduce tissue indentations. This helps achieve a delicate surgery by minimizing post-operative nasal shape deformities such as scarring and alar flaring.
