How is a receding chin diagnosed?

The ideal chin proportions as Golden Diamant sees them

1. An angle of 75–80 degrees on the line joining the tip of the nose and the tip of the chin is ideal.
2. Drawing a horizontal line at the tip of the nose and a vertical line at the philtrum, the upper lip should protrude about 5 mm
and the lower lip about 2.5 mm, while below the lip should be set back about 4.5 mm
and the most prominent part of the chin set back about  3 mm —
these can be called the ideal proportions of the chin.

In the case of a recessed chin, when viewed from the side rather than the front
It can be seen more clearly.

If, seen in profile, the tip of the chin is set back so that the lower jaw looks
fleshy and the mouth looks protruded, this can be called a receding chin.
A receding chin also looks somehow lacking from the front, and because the boundary
between the neck and jawline is indistinct the face looks undefined and vacant.
If you wish to improve this impression, chin surgery is effective.

What is Golden Diamant chin implant surgery?

A relatively simple way of correcting a receding chin:
through an incision inside the mouth, an implant of silicone, Gore-Tex or Medpor
is trimmed to the shape of the chin and inserted in front of the chin bone.

Because an implant that is too small and oval can cause problems from bone change over
the long term, surgery is performed with a wing-shaped implant.
At Golden Diamant the implant is inserted through an incision inside the mouth,
which reduces concern about scarring.

Golden Diamant stays with you through recovery

Golden Diamant continues to monitor your recovery even after surgery or a procedure is finished.

Where the medical team judges that scar care is needed because of an incision or tissue harvesting, a scar care programme using Fraxel laser and scar-reducing medication is provided up to three times at no additional cost, according to the state of recovery.

If a scar remains after basic care or further treatment is needed, the medical team checks the condition in person and advises on the care required from among more than six lasers, more than four medications and stem cell treatment.

We do not stop at the surgery or procedure; we check the course of recovery carefully and continue the care that is needed.
