Motiva Preservé is a surgical method in which Motiva implants are inserted using specially designed instruments, aiming to reduce surgical trauma and preserve normal tissue (Tissue Preservation). An incision and tunnel are created using a Preservé-dedicated director, the tissue is expanded with a balloon, the Motiva implant is inserted, and the incision is sutured. At Golden Diamant, we use Motiva Ergonomix® 1 implants, and I personally handle the entire process from consultation to surgery.

While conventional breast augmentation at Golden Diamant dissected tissue using an electrocautery device, Preservé dissects tissue with a balloon. Unlike the conventional dual-plane method, it is a minimally invasive surgery centered on tissue protection without cutting the pectoralis major muscle. In addition, whereas nipple sensation could be partially damaged in conventional surgery, Preservé has a higher likelihood of preserving it. However, results may vary depending on the patient's condition, surgical extent, implant size, and the medical team's judgment, and side effects such as bleeding, swelling, and scarring may occur.

Preservé is performed through an incision of approximately 2~3cm, which is smaller than the 4-5cm incision used in conventional breast augmentation at Golden Diamant. We guide patients that the scar length is around 2.5~3.5cm (average 3.0cm). After surgery, scar prevention medication and scar treatment gel are prescribed, and if deemed necessary by the medical staff, a scar care program is provided. Side effects such as bleeding, swelling, and scarring may occur, and recovery times may vary by individual.

Preserve takes approximately 20-40 minutes from the start of the incision to the completion of suturing, and the procedure is performed under twilight anesthesia (conscious sedation) or local anesthesia. Light daily activities are possible on the same day or the following day, though recovery varies from person to person (conventional surgery takes 1-2 weeks). The exact duration and recovery period may vary depending on patient condition, surgical extent, implant size, anesthesia method, and medical judgment, and the schedule and surgical technique may be adjusted based on the results of a thorough 1:1 consultation.

Yes. Preserve may be limited if you desire a very large breast size or have insufficient breast tissue. In such cases, subfascial breast augmentation or the dual-plane method may be more suitable in terms of structural stability. For this reason, starting from the consultation stage, I examine skin elasticity, rib cage width, breast tissue density, and other factors to establish a surgical plan tailored to your body type, and I personally take full responsibility for consultation, surgery, and postoperative care.
