01Lip cornersLip corner Botox is injected selectively into the depressor anguli oris. When the depressor is weakened, the muscles that raise the lip corners become relatively stronger, so that the way you look when smiling becomes far brighter and more natural
02Chin tipWhen pursing the lips or making certain facial expressions, the skin surface of the chin becomes bumpy and uneven, which is called chin wrinkles or "walnut chin" (pebble chin). The cause of these wrinkles is the excessive activity of the mentalis muscle, and Botox is injected into this area to smooth out the jawline.
03Gummy smileGum exposure (a gummy smile) is a symptom arising from excessive action of the levator labii superioris. Treatment of the levator labii superioris alaeque nasi and the depressor septi nasi can therefore correct it quickly. Injecting Botox into the levator labii superioris alaeque nasi also restrains the overactive expression muscle and so relatively reduces gum exposure.
04Mouth asymmetryFor mouth asymmetry, differences in the activity of the mouth muscles are identified and Botox is injected selectively into those muscles to create left-right symmetry. If treatment considered only the volume or shape of the lips, the overall harmony and balance of the face could be broken and the result could look unnatural, so perioral Botox must be carried out by a medical team with rich treatment experience, after thorough consultation with the patient and with facial harmony in mind.

POINT 1 lip corner Botox
It changes the way you look when you laugh or smile
What matters in lip corner Botox is injecting precisely into the target muscle. It is also a matter of injecting an appropriate dose with regard to the activity of that muscle; a large amount must not be injected at once in the first treatment, so a retouch correction must always be carried out while observing the condition and injecting appropriately. If the product spreads to a muscle other than the target, deformation of lip movement occurs and discomfort can last for several months, so treatment must be received from an experienced board-certified plastic surgeon.
POINT 2 chin tip Botox
It smooths and refines the jawline.
In the case of mentalis Botox, if it spreads to the orbicularis oris or the depressor labii inferioris, asymmetry when speaking or smiling, discomfort when making fricative or plosive sounds, and dribbling when drinking or drooping of the lower lip can occur. Treatment must therefore be received from a board-certified plastic surgeon with a high level of anatomical knowledge, based on experience of perioral procedures.

It resolves excessive gum exposure
The most beautiful golden ratio when smiling is 1–2 mm of visible gum, with a tooth width-to-height ratio of 0.7–0.8 : 1. Where the upper lip and maxilla are normal but the levator labii superioris is overdeveloped, Botox can be effective. Where the maxilla is longer than the upper lip, or the upper lip is normal but the maxilla is short, each must be improved through surgery, though Botox treatment can also give some effect.
POINT 4 mouth asymmetry correction
It resolves concerns about left-right asymmetry of the mouth shape
Mouth asymmetry, where one side of the lip droops or is not level and the lower lip looks skewed to one side. Differences in the activity of the mouth muscles are identified and Botox injected selectively into those muscles to create left-right symmetry.
