Hello.
I am Song Sang-hoon,
Chief Director of Goldendiamant Plastic Surgery in Cheongdam-dong.

A few days ago, after finishing my consultations, I attended the DEEP Symposium hosted by Daewoong DNC late in the evening.
At this symposium,
a lecture was given on CaHA, calcium hydroxylapatite-based collagen boosters, known to be in the same category as Radiesse.
It was an opportunity to delve deeper into the subject, understanding it not merely as a concept of filling something into the skin, but as a procedure that induces collagen synthesis and the regeneration of new dermal tissue to help improve skin elasticity and density.

Even with the same ingredient, how it is used changes the results.
CaHA-based procedures can be used for various purposes, including improving skin elasticity, fine lines, sagging, and facial contours.
However, what is important is not the product name itself, but
‘which layer, in which direction, and what amount is injected’.

Different approaches are required for areas with thin skin versus thick skin,
and for areas with a lot of movement versus areas that need support.
Therefore, even with the same collagen booster, the naturalness of the results can vary depending on the medical professional's anatomical understanding and technique.
Lifting and Tightening Perspective Reconfirmed in Dr. Carmelo's Lecture
What was particularly impressive in this session was Dr. Carmelo's lecture.
It covered how CaHA procedures can be utilized not just as simple skin boosters,
but from the perspective of facial lifting and tightening.
It was important to consider not just following the areas that show sagging,
but also the overall support structure of the face and the direction of pull.
Ultimately, I believe good results come not from ‘injecting a lot’
but from applying it precisely and appropriately to the necessary areas.

Goldendiamant Plastic Surgery's
lip line design procedure can be the answer.
As important as the effect is the technique to reduce side effects.
Since collagen boosters are procedures that induce skin reactions over time,
the initial design and injection layer are very important.
If injected too superficially, it can appear bumpy,
and if applied excessively to areas with a lot of movement, it can look unnatural.
At this symposium,
content on injection points, cannula direction, injection layer, and volume control to reduce such burdens was also covered.

As I listened to the lecture, I also
reconfirmed that ‘achieving effects’ and ‘creating safe, long-lasting results’ must always go hand in hand.
Criteria Goldendiamant Considers Important
Whenever I encounter a new procedure, the first thing I look at is not its trendiness.
I first examine the principle by which this procedure works,
which patients it is suitable for,
which areas require caution,
and what criteria should be applied to prevent problems.

Many people are concerned about skin elasticity, sagging, facial contours, and even neck lines, but the same procedure cannot be the right answer for everyone.
Goldendiamant will continue to study to create safe and natural results that match each patient's skin condition and facial structure, rather than just promoting product names.

Although the lecture continued late into the night,
it was a meaningful time, as I felt I could explain things with more precise criteria when I faced patients in the clinic the next day.

I will always strive to be a doctor who studies and contemplates.
Thank you.
