In addition, to prevent the side effect of nasal shape deformation after philtrum reduction surgery,

we also apply a technique to prevent columellar base depression.

This not only prevents changes in nasal shape

but also minimizes the possibility of nostril floor deformation,

allowing us to reduce the length of the philtrum while

minimizing structural deformation of the lips and nose, a unique surgical method of Golden Diamant.

Another characteristic of our medial philtrum reduction surgery is that

philtrum reduction alone can deepen the philtrum groove and sharpen the C-curve shape.

Therefore, a separate philtrum deepening procedure is not additionally required.

Golden Diamant's lateral lip lift (lateral philtrum reduction) is also designed to remove more tissue from the outer lip area when the central part of the lip, where the philtrum groove continues, is relatively lifted.

This design is used for the surgery.

Through this design, not only is the lip line naturally augmented,

but the aesthetic harmony between the philtrum and lips can also be further improved with lateral philtrum reduction.
